Hi! I’m Ashlee
I’m a wife to my husband Patrick. We married in May of 2010. I am stay at home mom to my 3 children Hudson, Everett, and Winter. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I love to cook with my husband. We’re really into organic clean foods. I enjoy blogging, taking pictures, yoga, nature walks, sunshine, the smell of fresh cut grass, being organized (I may or may not be OCD), Bravo TV, painting, coffee and wine.
Here is how I got started on my social media journey:
I like most people used Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat as a way to connect and share my life with my friends/family. Over the past couple of years I started to follow a few mom blogger accounts on Instagram. I was always so inspired and thought to myself I wish I could be a “social influencer” & mom blogger. I loved how these women posted pictures of their every day life, while sharing products they enjoyed using. It also seemed like a way to creatively express yourself while making some money! After I had, Winter my mom passed away that May (I lost my brother in November 2015) and I was again reminded that life is way to short. I finally had the courage to dive into this social media blogging world in June 2017. I did a lot of research and learned I needed to grow my following. I started this by becoming a brand rep with Winter. A rep is when you take pictures of the shop’s product and post about it on your Instagram. I joined follow loops each week and started making more connections. A follow loop is when you follow everyone under the same hashtag. A lot of mom bloggers and small shops participate in follow loops. It’s a great way to grow. I also used hashtags that were related to my interests (momblogger, motherhoodthroughinstagram, momtribe) etc. I would then engage with others under these hashtag, follow, like and comment on their posts. Finally I was able to reach out to companies and ask them if I could promote them. I dedicated many long hours to growing my Instagram. I was told no by a lot of companies but I didn’t give up. I would pursue them until I heard yes.
I started this blog, because it is my passion to share mom tips/hacks, party planning recipes, cleaning solutions, home decor, beauty products, fashion, and all things baby/kid related. I want to make life and motherhood easy and fun! Thank you for stopping by and making my dreams come true. Come say hi to me over on Instagram
xoxo
