When I found out I was expecting baby #4, I knew I needed to find a new travel system because our family is always on the go with the other kids. I was so excited to discover Summer Infant had a brand new system on the market. In this post I am going to break down the features of this affordable and convenient travel system.
This travel system comes with the Affirm 335 Rear-Facing Infant Car Seat, Affirm Steeloc Base, and Myria Modular Stroller. It is designed to last you from the infant stage through toddlerhood. (The weight is 3 lbs – 50 lbs).
When it comes to traveling with your baby one word always stands out and that is SAFETY. You want something that will protect your baby and keep he or she comfortable when on the road. I have found that the summer infant car seat does all of this. It has an easy to read level indicator to help take the guessing out of knowing if the car seat is installed properly. It has the LATCH system for easy installation, adjustable T-strap safety harness with padded shoulder straps. It’s ultra lightweight compared to other car seats I have owned in the past. It has a very comfortable handle for carrying it around. Lastly, the padding that is inside of the car seat will keep your infant secure and comfy.
Big Brother Everett excited to have baby Roman riding safely next time him!
Here is what I love about the actual stroller… ALL the options and space! You can use the car seat in the stroller it just clicks right in. So if baby falls asleep while you were on a car ride, you can easily move him into the stroller without disturbing him. If you don’t want to use the car seat you can place baby in the bassinet option. Then as your child grows you can turn the bassinet into a toddler seat. The canopy shade offers baby lots of shade and privacy. The cargo basket on the bottom of the stroller is huge it can store so much. Another plus is cup holders. It comes with one for you and a tray for baby. No need to order any additional pieces with this travel system. The one-handed folding frame helps to store it easily when the stroller isn’t being used. The only negative of this stroller is that it currently does not have an option for a second child to ride on it.
Here is a link to this travel system stroller. I truly recommend it if you are looking for something light weight, easy to use, and affordable. Plus something that will last you from day 1 with your baby through the toddler years.
